Aged Brass Door Knob on Plate
A traditional door knob on plate, in the aged brass finish.
You can alter the style of your door knob, by mounting on a rectangular or square backplate, rather than round rose.
The door knob in the photo is the CR 6503 Ball Knob on Backplate, shown mounted on a “lock” backplate (this has a keyway to take a key, for a standard mortice sashlock, but is also available with plain/latch plates and bathroom plates, with thumbturns).
Ball knobs are a very traditional design and by altering backplate, rose the finish on these, they can suit both vintage and modern décor.
Shown here in the aged brass finish, these door knobs are available in over twenty-five finishes and metals, including real, sand cast bronze. Each one is made in the UK and individually finished by hand.
